Refund policy

Due to the rarity, size, historical nature, and logistics of our inventory, all sales are final unless otherwise approved by Whaletail Sales.

Return Consideration

Refunds, replacements, or store credit may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Whaletail Sales.

To request consideration for a return or refund, you must contact us within seven days of delivery. The item must remain in the same condition as it was received, and any approved return must be properly packaged and insured for shipment.

If a return is approved, freight charges, return shipping costs, and handling fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Non-Returnable Items

Custom, modified, or made-to-order items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange. Gift cards are also non-returnable.

Product Condition

Whaletail Sales specializes in authentic aircraft components and aviation-inspired items. Many products are reclaimed from retired aircraft and may exhibit normal wear consistent with prior service history.

Unless explicitly stated in writing, all products are retired aircraft components and are non-airworthy. Products are sold for display, collection, novelty, or training purposes only, and no item is certified for flight use.

All products are sold as-is with visible wear consistent with aviation service history. No restoration or refurbishment is implied unless specifically described.
